High School Golf Team of All Black Players Become the First to Win State Championship The Charles R. Drew Public Charter School's Varsity Boys Golf Team in Atlanta, which has all Black players and an all Black coaching staff, has recently won the State Championship, making them the first to do so in the state of Georgia.

Anyone who spends much time with me knows how much I love chickweed. A most versatile herb, and common almost everywhere on the planet, chickweed is a medicine chest all by itself. It works many ways internally and externally to soothe, detoxify, and fight infection. A great tonic for spring! We pruned the pawpaw trees in January. Leathery purple flowers should appear in the next few weeks. The fruits on our trees grow in bunches, like hands or bananas. Last year ground hogs devoured most of the fruit. I never knew until the trees started to bear that groundhogs can climb trees.
