Javier Benito Penaloza was born yesterday at 6:34pm, 8lbs 1oz and 21.5” long. We are both home and are so in love 🥰. He’s going to have the best hair to cut 😊.

I have turned the online booking page back on! A few notes though…I still can’t figure out how to pause booking for the 12 weeks I’ll be gone, so it will show that I have availability’s while I’m on leave.
**I will be denying ALL appointments prior to July 28th.
**I will need to take breaks to pump/breastfeed Javi, so if I have too many people in a row, your request might be denied/I’ll offer an alternative time if available.

Friends and family, the time is getting closer for baby Javi to arrive, and that means I’ll be out until the beginning of August. Here is a list of great salons and stylists that I recommend while on maternity leave.

Hello to all of my wonderful clients! I have some not so good news to share for future booking. I am completely shutting my books off for any future booking and I will be lightening my work load until the baby is born. Long story short, I am having health issues and standing on my feet with very few breaks is making it worse. I’m so sorry for any inconvenience and if you have your appointment already booked with me, most of you will be ok staying as is, but I will be messaging some people about needing to cancel, due to working overtime on that day. Thank you all for understanding and I will be back in July from Maternity leave. 💕💕

Starting this January, there will be a small adjustment to my pricing to reflect rising operating costs. The increase will be minimal—typically $5–$10, depending on the service—and I remain committed to providing the same high-quality experience you know and love. Thank you so much for your continued support; it truly means the world to me.

Happy holidays! As most of you know, I am expecting my 3rd baby in May and my books will close at the end of April. After the holiday season, I won’t be working on my days off or after hours, so that will limit my availability slightly. Please think ahead and book out for the next 2 appointments if you want in before I go on maternity leave. April seems like a long ways away, but it will come up fast!

For when I am on maternity leave, I am recommending people go to Cat N Fiddle Salon in fairhaven or Wild Hare in Blaine. I know for a fact you will get taken care of there!

I will be back at the end of July, so if you’d like, you can book starting July 28th. If you try to book online before then, I will deny it and give you other options.
