Hi all,
I know I have been a bit silent as I had some logistics to work through. I sadly don’t plan to return to in-person services at Salon 234 after restrictions are lifted. When the time eventually comes for me to return to aesthetic services I will be sure to share the news :)
I do plan to continue making educational content on here as well as my blog and I hope you stick around for this new chapter in life 🙏🏼❤️

My current skincare faves:
Cleansers:
The ZO hydrating cleanser has been a go-to for me lately for dry, sensitive skin. Since I’m not wearing much makeup and my skins a bit more irritated these days I tend to just wash my face at night or after a workout with this cleanser. When I want to feel a little more “clean” I’ll use the Skin Script Glycolic acid cleanser. I’ll usually use this 1-2x a week after my shifts at work wearing a mask all day, it’s great for keeping acne at bay as well but can be drying so I use it sparingly.
Moisturizer:
The light aloe moisturizer from SS is my all time favorite, one of the few moisturizers I’ve bought multiple of and does not break me out 🙏🏼
Sun screen:
This one is zinc-based & medical grade. Other favs include: Super goop Zinc Screen & Elta MD
And of course, spot treatment:
From the brand that has never failed me - Skin Script.
Not pictured:
Skin Medica Tx ceramide cream & Skin Script cucumber hydrating toner. I’ll use these before my shifts at work to help protect my skin from irritation & to lock in moisture.
All of these are available for purchase online through other retailers - BUT I do still have a several of the blemish spot treatment ($18) sunscreen ($38) and travel sizes of the glycolic cleanser ($10) left in my inventory.
If anyone is interested in local delivery, please shoot me a message 👋🏼 @ Lynn, Massachusetts

Hi babes! Here are some quarantine-esque skin tips.
Like everyone else, I’ve been adjusting to this weird new normal and haven’t been great at posting. Hoping to change that soon because I love having this little creative outlet even if I’m not currently working on clients 🥰.
On exfoliation: cutting down on the retinol is hard af, but your skins barrier will thank you if you are wearing a mask all day.
On barrier creams: These are typically marketed as balms or ointments, essentially you want a thick a** moisturizer. BUT If you are working in a high-risk area (COVID ICU/ER) and using a respirator, I would take it easy on the barrier cream to keep it from affecting the seal!

To my valued clients:
With growing concerns about COVID-19 in Massachusetts, I have decided to temporarily close my doors in an effort to keep my clients healthy and safe. The situation remains fluid and I will update you all as necessary, but I do hope to re-open by April 1st, 2020. Affected clients will be contacted directly to reschedule.
I want to assure you all that I have not had any contact with anyone suspected of having COVID-19, but am taking this precautionary measure to help slow the spread in the community and to preserve supplies for front-line healthcare professionals.
Thank you all for your understanding and continued support! I am still available via phone and email for any questions or concerns. Take care & stay healthy!
If you did not receive this e-mail and would like to be signed up for future e-mail updates, please message me or comment below.

Posting this once again because COVID-19 has spread quite a lot since I posted this last week.
I want to reassure you all how important sanitation is to me -always- but especially now. We are stocked up on cleaning supplies and I always clean vigilantly between all clients. Also, I will not be enforcing any cancellation policies during this time. If you have any symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath, congestion, etc.) then please contact to me to reschedule. If you come to an appointment sick, I will send you home for the health of the rest of my clients, patients, family and myself.
Other than that, it is business as usual for now. I encourage you all to follow the guidelines from and in terms of limiting unessesary travel and protecting yourselves.
Like everything else in life, this too shall pass. But let’s limit the impact we allow it to have. Sending love to all my inpatient/ER colleagues also. Stay healthy & get lots of rest friends 🥰
