When clients bring in an IG photo and ask if we can achieve that look in two hours for a fraction of the cost, it can be disheartening on so many levels.

I’ve been in this industry for nearly thirty years, and one thing I’ve learned is this: beautiful hair takes time, skill, quality products, maintenance, and honesty. Social media often shows the final result — not the hours behind the chair, the multiple sessions, the extensions, filters, lighting, or the years of experience it took to create it.

I’ve never tried to compete with anyone else. I’ve always stayed in my lane and done what I do best. But when a client asks for the impossible with an unrealistic budget, I have to be truthful.
