This change has been something I’ve put so much thought into, and it feels like such a natural next step for my business.

After over a decade behind the chair, I’ve learned that great hair is only one part of what I want you to receive when you sit in my chair. I want every appointment to feel intentional from the consultation, to the products I use, the time and care that goes into your hair, and the experience you have while we are together.

Moving forward, my pricing will reflect all of that from the beginning. No calculating. No wondering what you should tip. No pressure at checkout. The price you see is the price you pay.

But I also feel like can’t share a new chapter of my business without acknowledging the people who have made it possible.

Some of you have been sitting in my chair for almost my entire career. You’ve followed me through different salons, different seasons of life, becoming a wife, becoming a mom, opening my own space, changing schedules, growing my business…and somehow you just keep showing up. 🥹

You’ve trusted me with your hair, but you’ve also shared your lives with me. I’ve watched relationships begin, babies be born, fur babies added, careers change, families grow and so many ordinary little moments in between. And you’ve watched a whole lot of my life happen from that chair too.
There is something really special about that, and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully explain how grateful I am that this is what I get to call my career.

Whether you’ve been with me for 10+ years or your first appointment is still ahead of us, thank you for choosing me, trusting me and allowing this little business of mine to keep growing alongside me. 🤎

I’ve put a lot of thought into how I want my business to feel. Not only for me, but for all of you who sit in my chair. And I really love the simplicity of knowing exactly what your appointment costs, without the added pressure or question of what to tip at the end.

You show up, I take care of you, and that’s it. 🫶🏼

This change also allows me to price my services intentionally and continue creating a business that feels good, transparent + sustainable for the long haul.

I don’t believe your routine should be chosen solely because your hair is curly, straight, fine, coarse, color-treated or damaged.

Because before there’s hair… there’s a scalp.

Every scalp has its own microbiome and its own needs. Oil production, dryness, sensitivity, buildup and cleansing habits all matter…and THEN we look at the hair itself: texture, density, porosity, damage, chemical history + styling habits.

That’s one of the reasons MONAT makes so much sense to me.

It’s about supporting the scalp while customizing the rest of the routine to the hair attached to it.
