Our 1st Annual Free.99 Clothing and Shoe Give-Away was such a blessing 🙌🏾. We are sooo grateful for those who took the time to stop by and fill a bag. Giving to grateful people is our love language. Two days was not enough time to serve everyone so we are running it back. This week only. Mon Feb 23 to Fri Feb 27 5pm to 7pm, same deal come in and fill a bag. Once the items are gone THAT'S IT.

If you are a parent of a high school student or you're the high-school student looking for something to do during this winter break🤔 Well could use your help preparing for our upcoming .99 experience.

Help is needed today, Fri Feb 20 from 10am to 5pm and Sat and Sun. You do not have to commit to the entire day. Whatever time you con volunteer, we willbe grateful. Send an email to [email protected] to let us know.

Tasks include unpacking, sorting, organizing, hanging and folding donations. Arranging I AM YDC space to create a feel for our shoppers.

The Shopping Experience will be held on Sat/Sunday Feb 21 & 22 10a-5pm

If you should volunteer for the shopping experience Tasks include *pouring sparkling cider for our guests.
*Keeping the snacks and bottled water stocked.
*Checking in guests as they arrive by having them scan our event QR Code. *Removing hangers from chosen clothing and replenishing the clothing racks for the next guest.
*Keeping the I AM YDC "Boutique " organized and tidy for a great guest experience

Day 3 of our 2nd Annual Clothing and Shoe Donation Drive completed💪🏾

Today was a tear jerker. You never know who God will bring in your life to bless you. A woman and her adult daughter came in today with her husband's clothes. Her husband passed away over a year ago and she had been giving his belongings away thoughtfully. She saw our post on a message board and deemed our cause and those we support worth having Mr. Charles things. Not only are we honored but we know that the recipients will be blessed.

As we chatted, the daughter shared that she is a ln elementary school teacher to the gifted👀 this lady was B.A.D. we talked some more and she shared an experience with me that I know without a shadow of a doubt God sent her to share. I have been in prayer for my next move and asked God to let me know yay or nay. As tears formed in my eyes I told these ladies what I was in prayer for and was waiting on a call from my mentor for advise. Mrs. Brilliant Mind told me that if my mentor called while they were there she would run. Well after walking these beautiful ladies out I came back and checked my phone, I missed my mentors call by 2 min👀 I ran back outside, "Mrs. Brilliant Mind, he called" I screamed as I waved the phone at her. She rejoiced with me and said she had to come back to I AM Youth Development Center. And our doors will be open to receive her.
