🌟 Be Awesome Spotlight: Katie Gross – Chamber Secretary & Owner of Suburban Lash & Beauty

Katie Gross knows how to be awesome in every sense of the word. Not only is she the fabulous owner of Suburban Lash & Beauty, she also serves as our Chamber Secretary and is assisting our Scholarship Committee where she’s already helped raise $600 for the Nordonia High School Scholarship Fund.

Katie was 2023 Mrs. Ohio America and is currently competing for Mrs. Ohio Elemental USA 2025. She’s recently traded in her high pumps for something a little more “competition casual” high-heeled Birkenstocks. (We don’t know if that’s really a thing but if it is we know she pulls them off flawlessly)

Her salon is a certified Green Circle Salon, meaning that in 2024 alone, she’s diverted 148 pounds of solid waste (including hair foils and even human hair!) and 9 pounds of liquid waste from landfills. She’s also partnered with 🌳One Tree Planted, helping plant thousands of trees proving that beauty is about more than what you see, it’s about what you do.💚

We’re proud to have Katie on our Chamber team raising funds, championing sustainability, and showing our community how to Be Awesome and more!
