Over the past few months, we have faced some of the most difficult challenges of our lives. Navigating this pandemic has been tough for our stylists, massage therapist, owners, clients, and friends. We’ve made courageous choices and difficult decisions we never thought we’d have to make. It is both with a saddened and strong heart, that we make the following announcement:

Indigo Salon and Spa will be permanently closing August 1, 2020.

This decision was not an easy one to make. All of us experienced many changes within our families, neighborhoods, and our city. As I write this post, I am overflowing with emotions and gratitude for the last seven years.

I have fulfilled a dream of creating an amazing team that showed up everyday ready to give 100% to our clients and community. We have formed everlasting relationships within the walls of Indigo, and I will treasure those as I start my next chapter.

Pandemics change priorities, and it has given me confidence to move forward in a positive way. Some of our stylists will be taking this time to focus on their families, or educating their children. Other stylists will be available in the future for appointments at soon to be announced locations.

I could never put into words how much Indigo has meant to me, how much each of you has meant to me. Thank you for your continued support throughout the years. I look forward to serving my community in new ways as I continue to navigate this transition. 💙

It’s with careful consideration, and the desire to keep ourselves and our community safe, that we are choosing to remain closed at this time. Despite the Governor’s allowance for salons to re-open, it is not the recommendation of highly trained medical experts. It is not possible to socially distance and provide the top-notch services you all deserve. Also, due to the shortages in disinfectants and masks, we would not be able to provide the clean and sterile environment needed to keep everyone safe. We are keeping up with the latest news and press releases. As soon as we feel confident in our ability to provide adequate services in a safe manner, we will begin contacting clients for scheduling. Please know we are just as eager to schedule you all as you are eager to be scheduled. We miss our Indigo family, and we are making this very difficult decision out of love and concern for our community. We look forward to serving you soon. UPDATE: We will be closed until further notice. We are hopeful that doing our part to flatten the curve will ensure a safe reopening date of May 1, 2020. If you have appointments scheduled during this time, we are reaching out to each of our valued guests and rescheduling those. If we are able to open sooner, we will be letting you know ASAP. Dearest Guests & Friends

In light of the ever changing mood and escalating dynamics around Covid-19, we’ve made the difficult but necessary decision to pause with business as usual.

These are extraordinary times asking for us to take extraordinary measures in an effort to protect ourselves, the ones we touch, and those they touch…

Our temporary closure is in effect until March 31st pending any further developments.

We will be using this time to inspire ourselves through online education and nurturing our craft through at-home practice. I hope that you’ll also use this time to be creative with the people and ideas you hold dear. Be well. Stay grounded. Breathe deep..
