Random thought for today…

The FDA…. I’ve heard those 3 letters together since I can remember.

It wasn’t until recently that I began to question all the nasty food and cosmetics I’ve put in and on my body since my teenage years.

From Victoria’s Secret body lotion, moisturizing hand cream, eye shadows, concealer and foundation for my face to prepackaged food like twinkies and devil dogs… (boy do I miss them! Lol)

There have been some regulations but in reality, 1938 was the year President Roosevelt signed the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act into law!! 1938?!?!

Companies have been able to put almost whatever they wanted in their products to make them last longer on the shelves or to make the color of their product more appealing to the customer.. a.k.a. me and you!

I’m thankful for my beautiful friend who introduced this line of beauty products to me.
