Hey there!!
Long time no post 🫶🏼 in an effort to be authentic and encourage myself to show up in the feed more I’m going to be trying some different style of posts than just a before and after reel, or photo of just hair etc etc. I think I have the hardest time with consistency in feed because I feel like it’s required of me and well. When my creativity feels demanded from, she revolts 😂🤣
Personally I love when people I like/enjoy following share memes or words they’ve loved lately so I’m going to start doing something similar and call it the ‘Weekly Words’ series 🥰
I think I’d find it encouraging as well if yall either commented or replied to this post in a message with which one is your favorite! Personally for me, it’s the last one 🧚🏼🐉🧌
Fun parts of being a small business owner: now when you wake up at 3am and can’t sleep you get up and work on admin stuff, and attempt this social media thingy since it’s been far too long since a feed post.
I saw another creator in a different field talking about how showing up on stories, or threads was easy for them, but a feed post? It seems like too much. And I get it. It can feel like feed posts have to be perfect, or they have to be a reel, or you have to be doing the latest trend. They don’t have to be.
They can just be b roll cleaning footage and a bunch of your recent work, or different pictures of the same work with different text.
They can just be rambling on about life? I think so at least. I’m encouraging myself to think so.

Hey remember when I used to chase you around and beat the snot out of you roughhousing when we were little? Or when we’d hide under the basement stairs from Madeline and Mia playing gameboy? Or all the time we spent riding our bikes around the neighborhood? It was great growing up with you buddy, but I think my favorite part is where we’re at now. Watching you mature and grow into the man you’re becoming, being able to see you get married not once but twice this past year, and having you support me in this new chapter as a business owner too. Here’s to many more years of watching & supporting each other mature and grow. Happy birthday Tristan, I love you brudder 🖤
