This is a tale of a Princess Everly who longed to be Queen to help her people. But because she’s a princess she would not be able to rule her Kingdom. Instead her evil cousin Radeon would be crowned King when the time comes!

Radeon only cared about riches and wealth and Princess Everly cared about her people and what’s best for her Kingdom.

One day while meeting and greeting with her people she overheard a plot by Radeon and his minions to oust her father from the throne!!!

She hurried back to the Castle to warn her father when she became trapped by an evil witch. This witch was working for Radeon, and he commanded that Princess Everly be turned into a Mermaid and thrown into the sea. This way she couldn’t reach her father in time to warn him of the impending attack.

Everly learned to swim rather quickly and because she was so kind and gracious, she made friends with some under the sea creatures and birds too!! They worked together to defend the castle and they defeated Radeon!! When the witch parished in battle, Everly became human again!

King Aydius realized how much she cared for the Kingdom and decided she should have the throne when his reign is over. He changed the law to allow Everly to be Queen!!! And what a Queen she will be.

The Mermaid Who Could Fly by Allison Kaufmann

This Mermaid was named Lily, she’d watch the birds in the sky and wondered what it would be like to soar through the air. One day she found a treasure inside a shipwreck… it was a wishing mirror!

This mirror had 3 wishes! For her first wish, she wished to fly! As she was lifted out of the water nearby sailors tried to capture her and she nearly dropped the mirror! She realized this was not a good idea… she was a flying mermaid, and she was drawing a lot of attention. So she decided to make a second wish, she wished to be transformed into a bird! But this time she did drop the mirror into the sea!! How would she ever see her family again?

Her wish came true, and flying was amazing, but it was nothing compared to the love of her family. She needed to find a way to get the mirror and make her final wish.

Just then, her best friend Ren, jumped out of the water! He’d been looking everywhere for her.. she flapped her wigs and tried to get his attention but he didn’t see her. She landed on the surface of the water and searched for him just as he jumped out again she caught his eye! Thankfully he took notice! She was able to tell him all the things that had happened.

That very moment he went in search of the mirror, Days of searching to no avail. Lily decided to take a flight over the beach and try to get used to her new life. Just then, she spotted something shiny! “Ren”she yelled!! ”it’s here!” She landed next to the mirror and wished with all her might to be back to the mermaid she was before! The mirror did its work and she and Ren were reunited! She now understood wishing for life to be different is ok, but finding joy where you are is truly meaningful!
