OVER THE MOON to receive a thank you message from this amazing Bride after we were given the pleasure of supplying wedding day beauty services this last Saturday. So often we leave, the wedding happens, and we just see pictures from the day. To know we made a difference and helped such a special day start out with a bang feels amazing. Good Monday morning! ☀️

Here are some basic bridal hair tips to keep in mind when you book your artists. 💒

1. You are absolutely in charge of your timeline for your photos and wedding. But please understand your stylist won’t always be able to go off of a schedule you create for your bridesmaids hair and makeup. ⏰ We will use our allotted time the way we know best in order to get you, the bride, taken care of in time. Having bridesmaids show up at staggered times can really throw an entire schedule off on the big day.

2. Your hair should be clean day of- we have all the products and tools to ”dirty” up your hair in order for it to hold the way we can guarantee it. 🧼
*I should note- ladies showing up with wet hair will incur you a $50 blow drying fee - if time allows. Again, this is something that can completely ruin a timeline.

3. Many times ladies come in with blonde hair inspo photos- this is totally fine, but can be misleading. Instagram is full of styles and lots of artists use blonde models because the variation in the style shows up really well. 💇🏻‍♀️💇🏼‍♀️💇🏽‍♀️ If you have dark hair, look for styles on dark haired ladies so you have realistic expectations of what your hair will look like once styled.

4. Don’t wait until last minute! Many reputable stylists book out 9-12+ months in advance which means the last minute bookings can possibly leave you with a stylist who isn’t as talented or experienced. Best to be prepared to have the hair you desire day of! 💕

5. Trials are imperative! Paying for a bridal hair trial is an investment you’ll never regret. ✅ The ease you’ll feel knowing you have a plan set in place with your stylist is so nice before the big day! We also allow a bit longer for trials so we can tweak your style to get it exactly where you want it to be before your wedding.

6. As with anything, you get what you pay for. Investing in a trusted stylist for your wedding day will never be something you’ll regret. Those photos you enjoy your for a lifetime will show you looking and feeling your absolute best! 🤩 In this case, cheaper DEFINITELY is not better.
