Rainbow hour at AYA (around 3 to 4:30pm on sunny days this time of year) is the most magical thing. I'm obsessed.

My neurodivergent brain doesn't dip into meditation mode when I'm working. There's 2 imaginary conversations, a song, and some kind of philisophical tangent, along with the ever present "ooh, this person's shoulder is so interesting, what does it want from me today?"

Sometimes there's "what should I think about right now? This? No. This? No. This? No." Like I'm the Mars Pathfinder crashing out trying to prioritize the tracklist.

Then it's rainbow hour. I'm watching the colors move across the room with the sun. They fade into pastels when a cloud passes by. Sometimes the rainbows intersect and get a little hit of cyan and magenta. I'm thinking about color theory and the planet moving through space and the inherent magic of existence, I'm ~finding gratitude~

In other news.. that burnout bedrot era that I was talking about in my last post has officially landed upon me 🥳 I am at home resting with a gnarly cold. This feels more like getting sick on opening night rather than after strike 😅 Lots of spruce and sumac tea for me. I'll be in contact with those of you who have appointments coming up.

I've been a jumpy ball of anxiety for weeks, but honestly the terror is propelling me through. I am grateful to have a drive, even if it's a stress drive. I will be EXTRA grateful when I feel comfortable enough in my work flow at the new space that I feel "allowed" to have my burnout bed rot season. But for now... GO GO GO! do ALL THE THINGS! think ALL THE THINGS!

The AppleGate Office Center is a small and quiet office building just off the beltline at Fish Hatchery.

Features:
-A huge and gorgeous treatment room with lots of windows

-Single use restrooms

-A ramp and an elevator

-You can pop by a drag show nextdoor at FIVE nightclub after your session 🤣🤣🤣😅🌈🤸‍♂️

Is anyone else having weather headaches from all this pressure system whiplash??? Wishing the best for anyone with migraines 🫠🤕 massage may not cure migraines, but it can definitely help with some symptoms and residual tension. Keep me in mind if you are going through it! 🥰
