There’s a lot of misinformation circulating about TPO in nail products, so here are the facts straight from European regulators:

✔️ The European Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS) evaluated Trimethylbenzoyl Diphenylphosphine Oxide (TPO) and concluded it is safe for use in professional nail products within regulated limits.

✔️ The European Commission later restricted TPO due to hazard-based chemical classification from high-dose animal data, not because of human nail application studies.
