Switching this client from acrylic to Gel-x was such a beautiful transformation. She loved how lightweight and natural they felt. But here’s the truth most people don’t talk about: not every nail system fits every lifestyle.

After some time, we realized Gel-X wasn’t the best match for her day to day. She works long hours, lifts at the gym, cooks, cleans, and lives a very hands on & active life. As nail technicians, our job isn’t just to create pretty sets, it’s to guide our clients toward what actually works for them long-term.
Being a great nail tech means allowing room to explore new styles, while also educating and protecting the integrity of the natural nail. Sometimes that means going back to the basics in this case acrylic.

And let’s clear this up! People often fear acrylic because of the smell but not everything harmful has a scent, and not everything with a scent is harmful. Safety comes down to proper technique, ventilation, and professional application.
