What an incredible weekend it was with my childhood friends! It was full of everything you could hope for- shopping, yummy food, laughter, tears, matching PJs, sweet Valentine’s gifts, K-pop Demon Hunters, and, of course, facials for my girls! It’s something we don’t do enough of, but it was needed for all of us. My cheeks still hurt from smiling, and my renewed spirit has me glowing. What a good reminder that the best glow always comes from within ✨

Think you can't use a retinoid or Vitamin A product? It's possible that you used too much too soon. Starting with a retinoid is a delicate dance. But once you two get acquainted, you can achieve some beautiful results!
Here are a few tips to help your skin adjust and keep irritation to a minimum:
Low & Slow – Start with a lower-strength retinoid, such as retinal, and let your skin ease into it before moving up.
Alternate Nights – Try applying 1-2x a week at first and build up as your skin acclimates.
Buffer – Apply your retinoid after moisturizer to reduce sensitivity. I love using something barrier-supportive, such as Intensive Nourishing Cream or Epionce Renewal.

With the warmer weather, our skin faces unique challenges, from increased humidity to sun exposure. This makes it essential to adapt our products to ensure our skin remains healthy and luminous throughout the entire season.
Consider swapping your cream cleansers for a lighter gel formula. Gel cleansers are fantastic for removing excess oil and impurities without stripping your skin of its natural moisture. They leave your face feeling clean and refreshed, which is just what you need on those hot summer days!
Additionally, consider replacing your heavy moisturizers with hydrating serums. These lightweight formulas can provide intense hydration while feeling feather-light on your skin.
Don't forget about exfoliation! Instead of using physical exfoliants that can irritate your skin, opt for enzyme masks that gently slough off dead skin cells without the harsh scrubbing. Your skin will thank you for the extra care!
