I used to think you had to have the destination decided on and know exactly how to get there. I was reminded this is not always possible today after my leisurely 2 mile jog...
Sure no problem let’s do that short stack of stairs as a nice finisher and hey let’s even do it twice
Nope! Once I got to the top there were 3 more flights and you can’t stop midway up... enter all the negative talk and we’re only doing this once forgetaboutit two times!
Little did I know the most beautiful views awaited me at the top and it was so much better than I could have imagined.
Life parallel? You betcha! Sometimes you set out on one path only to see it may be a little different than expected along the way — but carryon my people...the destination will most definitely blow your mind. Especially if the work and sweat and tears endured along the way is more than planned for...the destination will be worth it
Even if you still don’t know what awaits you at the top.

Is this real life?
Full disclosure....I don’t post the bad stuff. I probably never will. I think back to the movie Just Married and the scene where the dad is talking to Ashton about the family photo album.
“You never see the hard days in a photo album. But those are the ones that get you from one happy snapshot to the next.”
Couldn’t tell you anything else about that movie but that sticks with me!!! It is so much like our social media sometimes. I love that some people DO post the tough stuff...I am just so private that unless you really know me-you won’t really know me from social media, and that’s ok.
Today was one of the best there could be. Extra time with the babies this morning, extra cups of coffee, and yoga in the barn that I have wanted to enter for YEARS and it has recently become possible...and for Yoga. What even is happening. Also it was with a bestie. In the sunshine. With the birds chirping and breeze blowing and barn wood smelling gently earthy and the most beautiful voice of our instructor. Man-it was one for the books.
