Today, I cried on the way home from my suite. Or perhaps bawled.

Tears streamed down my face as I drove home in the car, overwhelmed by a flood of emotions. But these were not tears of sadness or despair; they were tears of gratitude, of awe, of deep, soul-stirring joy. Today, I cried knowing with absolute certainty that I am on the path for me.

You see, when I started this wild dream of wanting to become a business owner at 23, I had no clue what I was doing & quite frankly what my business would be. I had a dream of what I wanted my vibe to be. I imagined how it would look, how I wanted others to feel walking into my business. I wanted everyone to feel how I feel when I think of Milk & Honey esthetics.

I wanted a place to empower and strengthen women not only with my passion of skin care but with true, genuine connections with each other. Yet, never once did I think that I would be doing the same for myself along this journey.

I realized that every trial, every triumph, every tear shed, and every smile shared is a part of the plan for me. I am not perfect, I make mistakes a lot, I doubt myself constantly, but when I see my business, I see a reflection of the dreams I have for it & myself.

As I write this, tears of gratitude streamed down my face. I thought of everyone who helped me along the way of this journey. Who truly have believed in my wild dream and never once skipped a beat in believing in me. I thought of challenges that have shaped me, for the joys that have filled my heart to overflow. And as I continue on this journey, I do so with faith in my heart, with love in my soul, and with the knowledge that I’ll be just fine.

And to think I started this all with a dream. ♥️
