Years ago God put it on my heart to go back to school and get my cosmetologist instructor license. At the time I didn't know why. I was thinking, "I'm just doing it to have something to fall back on." Little did I know 13 years later He would tell me to launch Divine Images Mentorship Academy.

In May 2022 I launched Divine Images Mentorship Academy with the hopes of being the mentor that I never had, teach the fundamentals needed to succeed in the beauty industry, and to offer guidance on their journey in the beauty industry.

The vision is to bridge the gap from cosmetology student to beauty professional by instilling the foundation of healthy hair, instructing the importance of hair loss, and helping beauty professionals build meaningful and successful beauty brands.

My mission is to educate beauty professionals about healthy hair care, hair loss, and beauty business. They will get the information that they need to provide healthy hair care and hair loss services for their clients. This will help them build a loyal clientele and create consistency in business.

In just 3 years Divine Images Mentorship Academy has expanded to not only mentoring beauty professionals, but all women. Let me start off by saying I give praise, honor, and glory to my sovereign God for blessing me with my gift. Thank you, Lord!

It all started with a gift and the courage to use it. I never knew that my gift would bring me this far. I just knew that I had a passion for hair and making women feel better about themselves that I could not ignore.

I never knew my gift would impact women the way that it does. You see, it's not just about having the gift to do hair. It's also about being anointed to make a difference in women's lives. It's about God giving me a purpose.

20 years of making a difference! That's ALL God! If I was trying to do it all in my own strength or without the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I wouldn’t have made it this far.

I've grown so much spiritually. God has reminded me that what I do is ministry. Doing everything with all of my heart has helped me grow into the woman of God that He has called me to be, learn to trust His guidance and provision, and operate in integrity and excellence.

I've learned the importance of obedience because it doesn't matter what you want to do, what He tells you to do is what's important. I developed endurance because when I'm tired God gives me the strength to push through and wisdom to rest and set boundaries. My faith has grown tremendously and through my obedience He is opening doors and showing me capabilities within myself I didn't know I had.

Finally, I gained the confidence to use my voice. Wooooo weeeee!!! I'll have to share that another time.
