Never lets me down

I was actually pregnant with my son living in Nashville when I studied esthetics. I found out I was pregnant just two weeks before the program started. I was terrified and broke and seriously questioned if I should put off school. I vividly remember my intro teacher staring straight into my soul when she told me she had never had a pregnant student finish her program, not once. Thank you Shelly for lighting that fire in me 🖤 The women I spent those 6 months with were the best support system a single first-time mom could have been blessed with. They were excited for me on the days it was hard for me to be and supported me in a way that I'll remember for the rest of my life. We used to joke about how my future daughter (lol) would be born with all the knowledge to be an esthi, and I swear it's in his DNA because he is the king of self care in our home. If any of my esthi besties are reading this, thank you, and know that he did grow up to love it all.
