Hello, My name is Corinne (Cori) Westphal— independent salon owner of Coco’s Har Color and Design Studio, stylist, and now, business coach.�I’ve been behind the chair since 2002. After 14 years in a commission salon, I went independent in 2016. I was great at doing hair — but clueless about running a business. I made mistakes, took on debt, paid myself almost nothing, and even with a full schedule, I couldn’t get ahead.
After the COVID shutdown, I became booked 10 weeks out. What looked like success quickly turned into burnout. By the end of 2020, I knew something had to change. I hired a salon business coach who helped me set goals, understand my numbers, and stay accountable — the piece I’d been missing.
The results were life-changing.�Since 2021, I’ve transformed my business into a six-figure salon, paid off $17,000 in debt, bought a reliable vehicle, taken real vacations, and finally built the freedom I always wanted.
Now, I use everything I’ve learned to help other stylists and salon owners avoid the same mistakes, grow profitable businesses, and create the career and life they dream of.

In that spirit, I’m proud to support the Goodman Community Center’s Thanksgiving Basket Drive — an incredible initiative that provides over 4,000 holiday meals for families in the Madison area to prepare and enjoy at home. 🍽️
Starting October 1st, Coco’s Hair Color and Design Studio, in collaboration with Schenk's Corner Suites, will be collecting non-perishable food donations to support this effort. 🥫🧃
