Following our discussion last month about toners, we are focusing this month on how to incorporate facial scrubs into your routine.
How often should you exfoliate?
In our consultations, we often find that people over-exfoliate. While the right frequency depends on your skin type, here is a general guide:
Dry or Sensitive Skin: 1x per week
Normal or Combination Skin: 2–3x per week
Oily or Congested Skin: Up to 3x per week
Tip: If you experience redness, dryness, or irritation, reduce your frequency immediately.
Your skin should feel refreshed, not tight or irritated.
