⚠️Did you know that a good haircut and glaze(toner) can go a long way!
💇🏼♀️ Here’s what we did for Evelyn, she came in wanting a fresh haircut that she can wear versatile between her natural curls and blowouts. So for this haircut we brought up the length but keeping in mind that she wants to put it up in a ponytail, added face framing angles and layers to add a more rounded shape and volume.
You may be asking yourself what is a glaze/toner 🙋🏻♀️
🌟A glaze is an ammonia- and peroxide-free color deposit that is applied to wet hair. During the time it sits atop the hair, the glaze adds extra moisture, shine, and color while taming frizz and flyaways in the process.
Now that we know the process, Evelyn’s goal is to start growing out her old hair color and embrace her natural grays 🥰 so for her we did a nice icy toner to tone down where she had a lot of unwanted warmth color and added in more of a sliver tone to blend in her salt and pepper.
