Roots of Gaia is a black female-owned business based in the Northern Virginia area. All products are handcrafted and vegan based. The company specialized in natural bath, body, and skin products. Everything is made by hand by the owner for hours to perfect the right formulas for the use of the product.

Friends and family have known me to be a product ju**ie. I would have shelves full of products of various scents and usage. I also suffer from acne, eczema, and have recently been diagnosed with a chronic skin condition called Hidradenitis Supperativa. After years of trial and error and research about the skin and how to take care of it in a healthier way, I started to realize that the products that I would put on my skin were not always the best. The products were filled with ingredients I could not pronounce or understand. I would research the ingredients on Google and notice the adverse effects they can have on the skin. I also started to become consumed with the benefits of natural ingredients such as carrier oils, essential oils, and butter and how they can help enhance our skin. I would rave to my everyone about natural products, their benefits, and how they helped me not only physically but emotionally.

This started the curiousness in me to start looking into making my own products to help tailor to individuals who suffer from skin conditions and want to improve their inner and outer appearance. Which lead to the start of the product line today!

What does the name Roots of Gaia Mean?

Gaia is of the Earth. Our products are all-natural and our goal is to help others revert to natural products but also understand that beauty starts at the root with the things that are not shown such as our confidence and self-esteem. Our product is built to repair the outer appearance while healing the inner issues as well.
