One year. One incredible journey.

About a year ago, a longtime client and sweet friend shared with me that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. At that moment, I was so grateful to be able to step in and support her through every stage of her hair journey.

Over the past year, we navigated hair loss, regrowth, little trims, and every milestone in between. It was a journey of patience, hope, and resilience.

When I look at these photos, it’s incredible to see how far she has come in just one year. Seeing her with a style that reminded us both of the beautiful hair she had before her diagnosis was such a special moment.
She was SO HAPPY! ♥️

What means the most to me isn’t the haircut, it’s seeing her smile, her confidence, and her feeling like herself again after such a difficult season.

Moments like this remind me that being a hairstylist is about more than creating beautiful hair. It’s about connection, support, and helping people feel like themselves again when they need it most.

Watching her strength, courage, and determination over the past year has been inspiring. I couldn’t be happier to see her smiling, thriving, and feeling like herself again.

The Power of a Demineralizing Treatment 😍

When this guest sat in Alana’s chair, her hair was struggling with buildup from hard water, styling products, and everyday environmental factors, leaving it looking dull, brassy, and lacking shine. Before moving forward with her service, she recommended a Malibu demineralizing treatment to remove the buildup and create a clean foundation.

After the treatment, she refreshed her hair with a toner to even out the color, gave her a big haircut, and finished with a Kérastase Fusio-Dose treatment to restore moisture and shine.

The difference is incredible. By removing the buildup first, we were able to reveal a brighter, cleaner result and bring life back to her hair.
