Going through my own hair loss journey, I discovered that minoxidil truly works.

Minoxidil works to make hair thicker and stronger by expanding hair follicles, shortening the resting phase, and extending the growth phase (anagen) of the hair cycle. It reverses hair miniaturization, resulting in thicker, denser, and healthier-looking hair, with 5% concentration typically offering better results than 2%.

I was truly saddened and honestly shocked to hear of the passing of Miss Vicky from Miss Vicky’s Salon a few weeks ago.

Although I never had the chance to meet her, I’ve always known of her and the beautiful work she did. She served such a special and meaningful role—helping women through hair enhancement and hair replacement services.

Even without meeting her, I feel this loss. And I know the space she leaves behind will be deeply felt, especially by the community of women she supported through their hair loss journeys.

Her work touched lives in a powerful way. May she be remembered for that and so much more.
