I've had many massage clients ask what stretches should I be doing?? My response is this, stretching is great, but if you are only stretching and not strengthening, what is going to happen to those Soooo important muscles????.....remember they have a job to do, so train them to do that job correctly!! I strongly recommend 30 days of yoga with Adriene, it's free and you can do it at home with no equipment....from beginners to advanced yogis, give it a try let me know what you think!!!

Had a wonderful morning at The Meadows doing massages for National Assisted Living week. Thankful that I have the Compassionate Touch knowledge and skills to help these residents feel their best. They had a wonderful view of the fountain and gardens while they received their complimentary massages today. Thank you for having me Good Neighbor Society!
My new hours are now updated!! Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday!!!!

I had to share these pictures and what I thought as I looked at them.
What a great reminder for all those that work with elders and their varying stages of aging and disease. Respect who they were and who they are at this moment, respect their reality-whether it be true or not, respect that their journey is theirs and make it the best it can be.

I'm excited to announce I'm now a certified compassionate touch practitioner specializing in elder care and hospice massage. If you have a loved one that is in a long term care facility or at home that would benefit from massage please pass on my information.
Although ATTUNE is focused on eldercare & hospice I will still be doing therapeutic massages at the spa!!
