Kevin, The Barber, has always loved sitting in the sunlight. Today, after we returned home from an oncology appointment, he quietly pulled a computer chair into the sunlit space of our living room and sat in still reflection—thinking over the past year and the many ways God continues to shower him with grace and healing.

At today’s appointment, his oncologist called him a “walking miracle.” With humble hearts, we give all glory to God and those he placed in our path along the way.

As Kevin was getting ready to leave for work, he paused and asked me, “Do you see it?”“See what?” I replied. He gently led me back to the computer chair he moved to the middle of our living room. There, through the light pouring in from the window, I saw it too.

Kevin quietly said it was an angel wing, a beautiful reminder from God that we are never alone.

“For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.”— Psalm 91:11
