To My Cherished Community,
After decades behind the chair, a lifetime of trims, shaves, and stories shared. The time has come for me to lay down my shears and step into retirement. This decision comes with a heavy heart, deep gratitude, and immense reflection on the generations of support you’ve given me and my family.
As a third-generation barber, I’ve had the honor of continuing a tradition started by my grandfather and carried forward by my father. For 88 years, Forsch’s Barber Shop has stood proudly as more than a place for haircuts. It’s been a gathering spot, a storytelling corner, a home for laughter, friendship, and connection. From first haircuts, wedding day touch-ups, father-son traditions and spontaneous walk-ins, you’ve trusted us with your stories and your milestones. That trust has meant everything.
Though I’m stepping away, I’m proud to say the shop will continue. The scissors will still hum, the clippers will still buzz, and the spirit of Forsch’s will remain strong. I leave it in capable hands, hands I trust to carry forward the same values that built this place: respect, skill, and community.
Thank you for your loyalty, your stories, and your friendship. You’ve made this journey truly unforgettable. I may be retiring from the chair, but I’ll never retire from the memories and joy this community has given me.
