Vagus nerve stimulation has become one of the most important tools I include in my daily routine alongside breathwork.

The vagus nerve plays a key role in regulating the nervous system, supporting relaxation, digestion, recovery, sleep, and overall well-being. When we intentionally stimulate it, we help the body shift out of stress mode and into a more balanced state.

The lymphatic system functions best when the body feels safe and relaxed. By combining vagus nerve stimulation, intentional breathwork, and Brazilian lymphatic drainage, we help encourage a shift from stress mode into a more restorative state. This can support circulation, lymphatic flow, digestion, recovery, and the body’s natural detoxification processes.

I believe that lasting results come from creating a strong foundation. Supporting the nervous system allows the body to better receive and respond to the work being done, making lymphatic treatments even more effective.

This is why I include vagus nerve stimulation in my sessions—helping clients feel more grounded, regulated, and connected while supporting both nervous system health and optimal lymphatic function.

Most people believe that they carry the weight of life only in their minds.

But the body also carries it.

It carries with it the conversations you swallowed, the decisions you had to make alone, the worries that never leave the back of your mind.

And often, it’s on the neck that all of this finds a place to stay.

The tension that doesn’t go away.

Stiffness when moving the head.

The feeling of supporting more than I should.

Your body doesn’t do this to punish you.

He does this to show you something.

Perhaps you’ve been trying to be strong for too long.

The neck doesn’t just hold tension.

He holds stories. And listening to the body is also a way of caring for the soul.

Did you know that a large portion of your lymphatic pathways are connected to the head and neck region?

The neck is more than just muscles and posture. It’s a key area for lymphatic drainage, nervous system regulation, circulation, fascia release, and emotional tension stored in the body.

When this area becomes restricted, we may see signs of stagnation such as puffiness, facial tension, headaches, jaw tightness, poor lymph flow, and even a feeling of being “stuck” in the body.

That’s why I’ve started incorporating specialized neck traction, gentle manipulation, fascia release, and nervous system-focused techniques into my extended 75 and 90-minute sessions.

This work helps create space, improve lymphatic flow, support circulation, release accumulated tension, and encourage a deeper parasympathetic response—allowing the body to soften, regulate, and restore.

Because when the neck relaxes, everything downstream begins to flow.

One of my favorite ways to support the body between sessions is through gentle stretching and fascia release.

This sequence helps open the chest, shoulders, neck, ribs, and spine — areas that often hold stress, tension, and restriction.

When fascia begins to soften and move, we support healthy blood flow, lymphatic circulation, mobility, and overall well-being.
