This was something I heard so often in my professional dance career: "Do you have the phrase? Yes or yes.." There was no time for no. If you didn't have the combination, you would have to step off of the dance floor.

Now, this phrase has become a part of my life's work. I say it often in my classes to motivate and inspire students to do more than they think they can. And time and time again, I witness them realizing they have much more than they think they can do. It's really quite simple… It's all just a mindset! So what are you waiting for?

Right after this photo- I suited up and learned how to kite surf… and if it werent for my consistency and motivation, I would have been swept away by the wind or water. Instead I have steady feet ready for whatever life throws my way…

2021 was a complicated year to say the least. Filled with immense heartache and loss as well as some of the greatest moments of my life so far. Thank you all for being along for the ride. Here’s to 2022! It’s yes or yes ✨
