Celebrating 5 Years!
Five years ago—right in the middle of Covid—we opened our salon with a vision: to give small businesses and independent stylists a place to thrive. What started as a dream quickly became a family. 💛
Our goal has always been bigger than just doing hair. We wanted to build a space filled with values, support, and genuine connection… a place where coworkers become family and where every stylist has the opportunity to grow independently and successfully.
Today, we celebrate 5 years of community, resilience, and growth. Thank you to every stylist, client, and supporter who helped make our salon a home. ✂️✨
Here’s to many more years of making a difference in this industry and continuing to redefine what a salon can be.

An update from Liz. Feel free to follow her page for updates on the triplets while she’s out of the salon.
A little baby update:
Week 29: We had our growth scan today. The last one would have been four weeks ago. The pressures in A and Cs cord are elevated now. Baby Cs is from a rare cord insertion issue, which we have known for a while. Baby A is new and is from the placenta likely starting to fail. Baby B is going strong, and likely got the best positioning intrauterine causing his placenta to function great. Baby A’s can happen just from my body putting in a lot of work and things aren’t able to keep up and supply like they should causing her to also be small now as well. Baby A is 2 pounds, 8 ounces- 11th percentile, Baby B is 3 pounds 4 ounces- 74th percentile and Baby C is 1 pound 12 ounces- less then 1 percentile. We will be admitted into KU MED Hospital in Kansas City on Monday. They want to monitor me closely for preeclampsia, which even today minus some swelling I show no signs of yet. My blood pressure has been great and I hope it stays that way. Due to Baby As placenta the chances of me developing preeclampsia are high and she could see the signs starting to show up in the next couple weeks. They will also start steroids and closely monitor the babies daily to make sure there are no sudden changes. At this point we hope to make it to 32 weeks for delivery, they are thinking anything past that would be a stretch.
This is obviously not the news we were wanting, but we knew was coming at some point and I am thankful to have made it as far as I have outside the hospital and with the babies still safe inside. I have always said I am thankful at least I have been healthy through this pregnancy as that can cause an entire new worry, and stress in the situation. Although that is likely soon changing I am just thankful to have this weekend with Elsie girl , Sam and family to enjoy the weather and hopefully breathe and keep a positive mind space. Once again life’s been a lot lately. Highs and lows. We try and stay positive but would lie if we said it’s not overwhelming. For now we just pray, and take the news as we get it.
TO ALL MY CLIENTS: As most of you know it’s not been easy for me to temporarily step away from a business I truly care so much about, and have worked hard to build over the last 16 years. You all mean the world to me, and I strive to show you that everyday, and hope I have made you feel just as special as you are to me every time you are in my chair. It sounds like I will have the babies mid-April and plan to be back AUGUST 1st. I will continue to update on my page. In the meantime, I have the most amazing girls that are in the salon, and I am grateful everyday for them. There talent will help me continue to service you while I’m gone on maternity leave. If you haven’t been given a stylist please reach out. I have a google drive with everyone in it and it’s made it very simple for the girls to transition you over for the time being. Also, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t feel like you will be bothering me to reach out. It will if anything give me comfort. If it’s to check in, let me know how great the girls are doing or just to say hi! I would love to hear from you as you mean more to me than just a client. I’ve developed some amazing relationships over the years, and cherish each one of those.
I can’t wait to be back ❤️❤️

Exciting news from our owner and stylist Hair by Liz at Luxe! Hop on over to her page for updates. ❤️
HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT:
For those that may not know Sam and I are expecting TRIPLETS.
I KNOW, we were as shocked as you probably are right now. With the shock however comes excitement, lots of unknowns and of course many prayers through the hard days.
I am due in June, however am praying to make it to May, as full term is 36 weeks, with 31-32 being most common for delivery.
What will this look like for clients?
While the babies are healthy I have one little one growing a little behind schedule. This will require hospitalization and daily monitoring at 28 weeks. With that my maternity leave will start March 21st, and I am hoping to return August 1st. If you are wanting in text me to get in before MARCH 21st, and if needing in after that let me know and I’ll get you temporarily paired with one of my other talented stylist. Stepping away from a career temporarily I love so much and worked hard for is scary, and has been one of my biggest stressors. I love you all to the moon and back, and we have shared so much in my 16 year career, but don’t you fret I will be back. This is just a little(or big) bump in the road and I have started a google drive with all of your names, a stylist that would be a good fit in my salon, formulas, pricing and everything I could think of to make my absence as easy as possible on all.
My biggest ask is that you keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate through this time of lots of unknowns. And please if you have any questions, want to just check in or say hi while I’m on leave, PLEASE DO SO! You will not be bothering me, in fact I would love to hear from you!
Thanks so much!
xx
