Studio 12 at Allure Salon Studios

Sometimes we all need a little reminder!

Taking a much needed break to spend time with my family. Studio 12 will be closed until Monday, July 12th. Phone calls/voicemails, text messages, emails and online appointment requests will not be responded to until I am back at the studio. Please be patient and understanding during this time. Studio 12 @ Allure Salon Studios COVID-19 Protocol

With the recent Executive Orders released by Governor Kelly and the Riley County Health Department, I am excited to announce that Studio 12 will reopen on Monday, May 18th. I appreciate everyone's understanding and patience over the last several weeks and I can't wait to see everyone. In an effort to clarify expectations, I wanted to post a quick message to let you know the protocols that I will be following to open Studio 12 in a safe manner. These guidelines are implemented to insure the health and safety of clients and service providers. Please understand that I am doing my very best to get everyone in as soon as possible. Again, your continued patience is much appreciated and I look forward to seeing everyone in the near future. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR UPCOMING APPOINTMENT

* When you arrive, please remain in your vehicle and text me to let me know you are here. I will then text you to come in once my studio is thoroughly cleaned/sanitized. To limit occupancy and encourage social distancing, the waiting area will remain closed at this time.

* No additional guests, including children, will be allowed. If someone comes to your appointment with you, I kindly ask that these individuals remain outside or in the vehicle. If a child is getting a haircut, one parent/guardian, is allowed to accompany that child.

* Masks are required to be worn by all children (over the age of 2) and adults while in the studio. Ear loop style masks need to be worn by clients to allow for services to be performed without requiring removal of the mask. Clients are responsible for providing their own masks and homemade masks are acceptable.

* Upon entering the building, clients will be asked to wash hands, read and sign a COVID-19 consent form, and have your temperature taken with a non-contact forehead thermometer.

* For your safety, all magazines have been removed from the building, so be sure to bring your own reading material if wanted.

* When your appointment is complete we ask that you exit the building out the back door to allow for social distancing from other guests entering the building.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ME AT YOUR UPCOMING APPOINTMENT

* I will be wearing a mask during each guest's appointment time.

* As I have done in the past and will continue to do, I will clean and sanitize my hands and Studio 12 after each appointment before the next scheduled client enters the space. This includes thoroughly sanitizing and disinfecting working surfaces, equipment, tools, and frequently touched surfaces in the studio. Common spaces of the building will be sanitized frequently by studio operators throughout the workday.

* To limit contact and exposure, I will handle all retail merchandise on display in the studio.

* A medical grade filtration air purifier is in operation in Studio 12 and will be maintained to safeguard air quality.

Please be patient as I get closer to opening. Getting my schedule figured out to safely benefit me and my clients is a huge adjustment as more time is needed between appointments to allow for proper sanitation. I am also having to think of myself and how much my body will be able to handle upon returning to work, standing on a concrete floor for 12+ hr shifts, multiple days in a row, is not realistic so please be considerate of the fact that you may have to be patient with getting an appointment. Can’t wait to see everyone as you have all been missed. Stay tuned for more information coming soon as to what you can expect to see/do differently upon returning to Studio 12.
