Happy Wednesday! This is my "Charm Day" which is when I spend sometime working on the booth, restocking and changing up things here and there! Last week I didnt realise how much was missing so I wasnt able to restock it like I thought! This afternoon, the plan is to get down there and get it stocked up for some high traffic this weekend!
If you haven't been by, its a Resale and Handmade Market with a ton of booths inside! I have been apart of the Charm since I first moved here in 2017 and wouldn't give it up for the world! Its the best and the owner and other vendors are pretty great too! Hours are Thursdays thru Saturdays 10am till 6pm.

My first year being in Fort Riley, I attended a event in Junction City and my neighbor was a Mary Kay lady. I was leary because yes, I got my butt roped into that game of harassing phone calls to book a facial, ohhhh heck no was I falling for that again! But we seemed to run into eachother time and time again! Eventually, she asked me to come to the Fort Riley Community Spouses Club and I worked and volunteered with her until she moved away to Florida. Her husband eventually retired and so did mine, somehow we seem to still cross paths even when she comes back to town and always catch up with our lives! She showed me her pictures of her grand babies and we talked about memories, difficulties in life, and what our lives look like now! It was so nice seeing her, giving her a hug and just connecting with a person that has watched my journey in Kansas! It was just refreshing, to say the least! Her last day in town, she swung by the PX and saw this freshie and she giggled and said a best friend of hers use to always have one in her car, it had a certain smell but this friend had unexpectedly passed away. Nancy said, you know what, I want to get one because it reminds me of her! She asked me which scent I liked the best and I told her that I really like this new scent called: Sweet Grace. She opened it and smelled it and said, THAT is her scent! That smells like her freshies! She tagged me in the photo and had the sweetest words to me! I was so happy to have seen her and it meant even more to me that her freshie was so special to her! Through out all the years of selling, I have heard so many stories of my item's scents reminding customers of: and it is an honor to be able to be apart of that moment to give back to them! People are important, memories are important and genuine connections are most important! Thank you Nancy and I hope to see you again! ❤️

Another year in the books! The largest selection of baskets and candy bouquets we have had! We were only left with a dozen roses and a few little vases! Sold out of the Valentine's Collection of Candles and Bath Bombs! It was a great week for Valentine's Day! Unfortunately I did not get pictures of the before but the tables were packed to the gills with two levels of products AND items underneath to refill, I am so blessed for a nearly sellout weekend! I want to say a special Thank You to my husband

Just sitting in my candle room packaging these adorable guys and wanted to share! The last two weeks I have been working on my special stash of 2026 Vday Candles! I made a limited amount but I love them so much I want to make a ton (holding myself back!)! They were literally just a trial but now my creative side imagines all the things I can do with this technique! 💕 💝🎀

In 2026, the weather does not seem to be our friend! I havent been able to partake in the Market yet due to the frigid temps! This Saturday I am still on the fence about coming. Thankfully, I have the Eclectic Charm to be my inside warm option during times like this! I have restocked the Wax Melts and Candles with some new scents: Lavender Honey, Clean Linen (smells amazing!), "you give me Goosebumps" and our trusty, Lovespell! More coming soon! I also added a Large selection of Carpet Fresheners with New Scents like: Lemon Mint and Pixie Dust...But favorites like: Butt Naked and Blackbeard! Bath Bombs were restocked and added these lovely Pizza Box Bombs perfect for your favorite Valentine!

Guess who's back at Fort Riley?!?!? 😁 Just on a much smaller scale! Kathy from Eclectic Insomniac Creations is opening a Makers Market at the PX and BLSC is included! A ton of talented vendors joining together to make an amazing Gift Shop and coordinated by Kathy! I couldnt be more anxious to see how much of a success the business and concept will be at the Exchange!

Can't lie, I've been MIA lately but trust me, my plate is full! 🤣 I took the last two weeks to fill the Charm but the booth is ready for you! Starting to add new Bath Bombs. I also have heart shaped Bubble Bath Dough sets and some Fizzing Bath Soaks! I also added a new Keychain: Stanley cups with an inside compartment, just remove the top and put your cash or stash in it and close the top!
