When you're finally done fully covering up the grey. I feel as though I have been having a lot more people sitting in my chair and discussing the possibility of wanting to embrace their grey hair. For this client, it was our first ever appointment together, she already had a couple inches of outgrowth, and it was the goal to start to blend everything together. Would you believe me that I put zero color on her root area? In this case, here was our process.
1) Malibu CPR color remover treatment. While this is an extra step, it can be helpful to remove some of that pigment from your hair with all of those years of root/color touch-ups.
2) Full head of teasylights, being sure not to go past her already grown out natural color.
3) Lowlights in between all of those foils (and man am I kicking myself for not taking a picture of that process)
4) Finished off with a toner (or two 🤪) in order to get those lightened pieces to have that full on ashy grey color.
While every case is different, there will still be some maintenance in order to remove brassiness as your natural color continues to grow out and there is still remaining color on your ends. I am by no means a grey blending expert, but it has been fun to learn a lot more when it comes to these techniques, and help those that want to embrace their natural sparkle! Color so good, it still looks good 9 weeks after it was done. Today was just a haircut refresh for this beautiful head of hair. We did her color just over 2 months ago, and it still looks just as beautiful as the day it was done. We also do not plan to color again for a few more months. Low maintenance colors for the win.

My favorite words are "I want to chop my hair". So if you want to cut off a lot of inches, I will be waiting for you to come sit in my chair 😉.
