I’m in one of those moods where I just got my hair blonder and so I think EVERYONE needs to go blonder 🥰👀😂

That might be a hard sell to my brunette clients.. but maybe just think about it!!!?? 👀 (you know who you are 😂)

I recently had a new (to me) guest who was shocked when I recommended to see her again is 8-10 weeks

She had been used to an every 6 week upkeep schedule with her previous stylist that 8+ weeks seemed so long!

I like to wait at least 8 weeks before I see my blondes again because that extra 2 weeks of growth makes it easier for me to place foils everywhere you need and nowhere you don’t

Let me explain that further… that extra 2 weeks of growth gives me extra space on each foil I place. What happens if I don’t have that extra space? Well, it’s easier to overlap lightener and cause breakage.. 😳

That extra space allows me to see what I’m working with and to blonde carefully.

To summarize, 8-10 weeks between blonding apts keeps you BRIGHT without BREAKAGE ✨

If you wanna be really, and I mean really, blonde — this should be your maintenance schedule….

Apt 1 Full Foil - this is where we do the work. We’re going to spend a lot of time together during your first apt and for good reason, we need to get your base BRIGHT and EVEN ✨

Apt 2 Tone, Treat, & Haircut - 4-6 weeks after apt 1. We will treat your hair with a hard water removing solution, tone your blondes to be nice and cool again, use a deep conditioner, and finish off by dusting your ends to keep your hair nice and healthy.

Apt 3 Partial Foil - we’ll be spending a lot of time together here again BUT you will likely only need a full foil every other coloring apt.
