Public access training is a critical part of Clear Path for Veterans’ Canine Program. During this phase, our canines-in-training are introduced to the everyday places veterans go - stores, public spaces, and community settings they encounter in daily life.

This hands-on training helps prepare our service dogs to confidently navigate real-world environments alongside veterans. By learning to remain calm, focused, and responsive in a variety of settings, our dogs are better equipped to support veterans in moments that may otherwise feel overwhelming.

Through this work, our service dogs help bring a sense of calm, confidence, and companionship, empowering veterans to engage more fully in their day-to-day lives and never having to walk alone. 🐕
