Today is the day I’ve be dreading, for weeks, months. Sharing it doesn’t feel right, not sharing it doesn’t feel right either. It’s been one year. It has felt like an eternity without my little brother, yet somehow it doesn’t feel like it could have possibly been a year.

The weeks leading up to today have been terrible, full of anxiety, fear, DREAD. Memories of that day, stirred up. Things I’ve tried so hard to push down, forced to resurface. A pain I can’t describe.

This grief, it stays with me daily. It’s heavy to carry, it’s broken me down. My only hope is that I know I’ll see him again in heaven. Today is going to be hard, everyday is hard. But we press forward 🤍
