Wrinkles 1️⃣0️⃣1️⃣ ☝🏻

It’s good to know the difference so that you can have realistic expectations for your aesthetic treatments. Deep static lines weren’t formed in 2 weeks, so they aren’t gonna go away in 2 weeks with one Botox treatment. They will soften overtime, but consistency and patience is key here. Also good skincare, sunscreen, and a big no to the smoking and tanning beds. 😀

When you start to see the small, fine lines starting to form when your face is at rest (or, if you’re planning on going to the *NSYNC reunion tour) 😉 call me, because it’s time for some Tox so we can prevent your dynamic wrinkles from becoming static ones. 💗

I’ve gotten way behind on posting on socials lately- 1) because life is just crazy right now and 2) because if I’m being completely honest, the social media aspect of running my own small biz is my least favorite part of it. I absolutely love interacting with all of you, but since I’ve never really been super active on my personal pages, posting on my business page just doesn’t come naturally to me. June and July were my busiest months yet, and I’m SO grateful for all of you for making that happen for me. Did you know that the FDA recommended dose of Botox for the forehead, 11’s, and crows feet is 𝟲𝟰 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘀? This dosing structure has the target outcome of improving moderate to severe wrinkles for an average of 𝟯-𝟰 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀.

So, if you’re getting significantly less than 64 units, it will not last you the intended 3-4 months. With that being said, not every single patient of mine gets exactly 64 units. Botox dosing is unique to each individual’s needs and everyone’s muscle size and strength are different. This, along with several other factors, determines your dose.

I totally understand that getting Botox can be a costly expense, so if you’re on a tight budget, I recommend treating one area with the proper dose rather than trying to spread 20 units over your entire face. Getting under-dosed in multiple areas can lead to a subpar outcome and a shorter duration which will end up costing you more in the long run!
