Amen, God is always first. 🙏🏾
That’s why I’m grateful He trusted me to love, guide, cover, and raise my son. The Bible says, “Children are a heritage from the Lord” — Psalm 127:3.
So when I say I wanna “staple him to me,” I’m just being a momma whose baby is growing up too fast. God first, and my son covered under Him always. ❤️👣

Meditation encompasses more than mere silence; it incorporates sound, breath, light, and intention. At Above The Sky Holistic Massage Therapy, we are enhancing our meditation sessions with the addition of drums and carefully curated lighting to facilitate grounding, nervous system regulation, spiritual alignment, and profound relaxation. The drum's rhythmic beats guide the body into a state of deep relaxation. The intentional lighting fosters a sacred atmosphere. Conscious breathing brings your focus to the present moment. Experience meditation redefined. Danyelle Whitehead, Holistic Healer, Above The Sky Holistic Massage Therapy, 817-734-4846

VERY IMPORTANT PSA
Turns out… that afternoon nap may not be laziness after all. 😄
A new study found that older adults who took short afternoon naps showed better cognitive performance, memory, language function, and orientation compared to non-nappers.
Translation:
Grandpa wasn’t sleeping through the baseball game…
he was protecting his brain. 🧠
The important detail:
These people were STILL sleeping about 6.5 hours at night.
So the nap wasn’t compensating for exhaustion…
it was adding restorative support.
The researchers did warn that naps over 2 hours may start working against you.
So:
20–45 minute “strategic neurological intervention” = probably wise.
3-hour accidental coma on the recliner after lunch = maybe less ideal. 😄
Happy napping.
