Yesterday was something truly special for us at The Maplewood Beauty Bar. We had the absolute honor of participating in the Cardinal Glennon Prom—an event filled with so much joy, strength, and love.

Being part of a night like that, giving back to such incredible kids and their families, is something that stays with you. These families are the real heroes, and it means everything to us to be able to show up and support them in even the smallest way.

What makes this even more meaningful is the heart behind why we were there. Our very own Kristin Burr—who many of you know and love—has a deeply personal connection to Cardinal Glennon. Just over a year ago, her son underwent open heart surgery there. Because of the care and compassion they showed her family, Kristin has made it her mission to give back every single year.

That’s just who she is—kind, selfless, and always thinking of others. She’s already looking for even more ways we can continue to support these families, and I couldn’t be more proud to stand beside her in that.

On a personal note… Kristin, you’ve been by my side for almost 10 years now. You’ve helped me through some of my hardest and darkest moments, and I truly don’t know what I would do without you. There is no one else I would rather have next to me in this life or this business.

Last night was about so much more than hair and makeup—it was about love, resilience, and showing up for others. And I’m just so grateful we got to be a part of it 🤍glennon
