🎁 Lash Wrapping

Lash wrapping is the way to go. It's when you push the base of the spike, fan, or the lash extensions onto the natural lash. Then you wiggle it a little bit so the adhesive will wrap around the natural lash and securing the bond.

💧Make sure that your lash extension has a little bead of adhesive at the base. When wrapping, wiggle the base into the natural lash. Then hold your lash extension in place, while the bead of adhesive is in contact with the natural lash.

If your adhesive is curing too fast, that means you have to move faster or adjust your humidity, temperature, or choosing a slower dry time adhesive.

It takes time to develop a light hand with lash wrapping! Keep practicing and you'll get impeccable retention!

Beginner Lash Course 101

1️⃣ lashing with INTENTION

💥 It sounds so obvious. But especially when you're a beginner lash tech and you're freaking out and you're trying to finish the set, you might start to rush and not lash intentionally.

💪🏼 Lashing is a muscle memory, and it takes time to build that. It involves a lot of micro movements and micro muscles. So especially at the start of your lashing journey, lashing slowly and intentionally will allow you to build the correct muscle memories to lash efficiently.

👀 Lashing with intention will come over time. Because at the beginning, you're focused on isolating, just trying to pick up the extensions and there's a lot of other things that is going on.

💕 When you're lashing with intention, you're thinking about where to place the lash extension, top, bottom, left, or right side of a natural lash. All of these really matter too. And how you develop that skill is, to slow down and really think about what you're doing, and how you're going to place a lash extension.
