As a salon, 3 of our 5 stylists have kids too young to be vaccinated. If any of us or someone in our household test positive, we can not work. We ask regardless of your vaccinated and boosted status if someone in your house is sick or test positive for covid even if it's not you to reschedule for 5 days later. We will all work you to get you in. I know you do not have to quarantine if vaxxed, but this is too close of a situation to us touching you, washing your hair, spray tanning you to do all of that to hear, oh such and such in my house test positive this week. Please please be respectful of us and our families!

While we have continued to require mask at the salon, I just wanted to remind everyone with the mask mandate going back into effect this Monday Mask will still and continue to be required at the salon! Please protect and respect everyone and have your mask on when you come to the salon! 😷❤

Happy April! 5yrs ago this month we signed our building lease and started creating our salon. June 1st will be our 5th birthday! So, to celebrate we decided to show some customer appreciation! Anytime from now till June 1st that you take a selfie or picture at the Maplewood Beauty Bar Salon post on social media and tag you will be entered in our drawing on June 1st! You can enter as many times as you like! Now for the fun! The drawing will be 5 different prizes one for each year we have been open!

Taking all the necessary steps! “Sanitation, sanitation, sanitation!” That is all I heard 16 years ago as I was preparing for my practical test. Time to add a few new rules to keep everyone in my salon world and home life safe! Reopening plans coming soon!

Just a quick update! I wish I had better news 🙁

So many questions out there about if we get to be open on May 4th.... unfortunately we do not. Until the city and county lift their stay at home orders we have to remain closed. We appreciate all of our clients who can't wait to get back in our chairs!
