We took her from soft, muted, mostly grown-out color to a vibrant copper that feels bold, warm, and totally her.

This kind of shade is such a statement, but it still feels wearable because we kept it dimensional and paired it with a s**g cut that gives the whole look movement, texture, and personality.

The haircut was just as important as the color here. A s**g adds shape without making the hair feel overly “done,” and it works so beautifully with a vivid copper because it lets all those warm tones catch the light in different ways.

I am lucky enough to have so many incredible nurses in my chair, and I’m constantly reminded that the care you give goes far beyond the job title. You hold people through some of their hardest moments, advocate when it matters most, and pour so much of yourselves into your patients and our communities 🩺

It is truly an honor to care for some of the people who spend their lives caring for everyone else. 🏥

This Friday, January 23rd, Boss Lady Salon will be closed in solidarity with my community.

I’m participating in ICE OUT Minnesota’s Day of Truth & Freedom by choosing not to buy, work, or participate in business as usual so we can collectively show support for our immigrant neighbors.

This is about humanity, safety, dignity, and standing with the people who make our communities stronger every single day.

This pause is intentional. It’s a reminder that behind every policy and headline are real families, real stories, and real lives that deserve compassion and protection.

Thank you for understanding, for holding space, and for standing with our community. I’ll be back behind the chair Saturday, with a full heart and open arms. 🤍
