If I had a dollar for every time I got asked these… 😂 here are some of the questions I hear constantly.

Are you still massaging?
• Yes, I don’t know what else I would do. It’s my only talent lol

Do people talk during a massage?
• Some do, some don’t.

What can I do at home to keep from getting so tight?
• Daily stretching, better posture at work, hydration.

Do people fall asleep during a massage?
• Two or three of my regulars do, but not many.

Do you ever get emotionally drained from your job?
• From time to time. Not usually.

What’s the hardest part of your job?
• Deep tissue work for 4 hours straight.

What body part do you work on the most?
• Back, neck, and shoulders.

Why is my left side tighter than my right?
• Everyone has one side tighter than the other. We all have a dominant side and daily habits that create imbalances. It’s extremely normal, and I feel it on almost every person.

How bad is my body compared to other people?
• Almost everyone thinks they’re “the worst.” Tight muscles and knots are very normal. There’s really no bad or good bodies, just different tension — and most of it is very normal.

How long have you been doing massages?
• Next month makes 6 years.

Do people really come for a relaxation massage?
• Maybe 2 out of 50+. Deep tissue is what they want.

Do you sell gift certificates?
• Yes, but my policy has changed. You can only purchase a gift certificate for a current client of mine, or if you’re willing to give up your spot that week, it can be arranged.

Do you get creeps?
• Honestly, no. I’ve been very blessed with that. I also no longer accept people just traveling through. Only client referrals for the last 2 years, which helps.

Why don’t you hire more people?
• I don’t want to.

Are you going up on your prices?
• I just did. From $75 to $85 in January for 60 minutes. 90-minute and two-hour sessions went up too.

Are men harder to massage or women?
• Skinny women are harder. Big muscle men I’ve convinced to let me walk on them, so it’s easier.

Do you massage more men or women?
• 50/50.

How many massages do you do a day?
• About 4–7 hours.

Do your hands ever hurt?
• Depends on the day, but for sure yes.

Do you get tired of massaging people all day?
• Well yeah… normally toward the very end.

Do people ever fart during a massage?
• Nah, I think they hold it in, which must suck lol

Do you get massages?
• I try my best. Making it more of a priority this year.
