Queenly reminder: Fear of failure, fear of success and lack of confidence are some of the most powerful drivers of procrastination.

I asked on my story a couple weeks ago what your limiting beliefs were. Fear of failure was the most common and fear of success followed in 2nd. I created this post because I want to help you conquer your fears and unleash your full potential. Thank you to everyone who engaged 💗

✨Imagine what your life would look like if you conquered all of your fears. Imagine all of the risks you’d take if you weren’t afraid to fail or succeed. Imagine what your life would look like if you didn’t care about what others thought of you. ✨

Remember: Growth is a process 🦋

Here are some actionable tips to help you along your journey of conquering your fears:

1. Accept it.
We all experience fear from time to time. Fear is a survival mechanism for our brains and bodies. You are human, it is okay!

2. Identify it.
What is it that you are really afraid of? In order to grow through your fears you have to be honest with yourself. Admit to yourself all of the times you feel fear. It may help to write these down.

3. FEEL it.
Get comfortable with fear. Sit with it for a moment. Think about what stories you are telling yourself as to why you can’t overcome these fears. Challenge yourself to develop courage and persistence to conquer these fears.

4. Adopt a growth mindset.
Get comfortable with what you don’t know. The path to success comes with many challenges along the way. Look at your failures and mistakes as opportunities for growth.

5. Set realistic goals and visualize yourself succeeding.
Ask yourself, “what does the ideal life I desire look like?” “How will I feel when I accomplish this? “How will I feel if I don’t accomplish this?”
Vividly visualize yourself succeeding and accomplishing your goals to condition your brain to believe that anything is possible.

What excuses or stories are you telling yourself as to why you can’t achieve this level of success?

Take a good mental note of these stories because they are your limiting beliefs and could be the only things holding you back from reaching your full potential.

Some of the most common limiting beliefs I hear are:
“I’m not good at talking to people”
“I don’t have enough patience to start braiding hair”
“I don’t know enough to start my own business”

Perspective: If you are telling yourself that you are not good at talking to people it is more than likely you won’t act on that business idea you have because it involves talking to people.

✨IT’S OKAY BEAUTIFUL. YOU ARE HUMAN AND IT’S LIFE✨
I understand that letting go of your stories can be a little (or a lot) rough. But now that you are aware of these stories you can take the first steps to putting them to rest.

Start right now, wherever you are in you journey. DECIDE, and I mean sincerely decide, to let go of your limiting beliefs.

💎Affirmations can really help with this because they allow us to REprogram our minds to give us the determination and focus it takes to live that life we dream of.

I understand that things may seem hard and everything might not make sense but here’s a different perspective…

All of the challenges you are facing right now are preparing you for the success that is already yours. These are the moments that will shape you into the brave, fearless, and humble queen you need to be in order to receive this success.

So when something “bad”
or unexpected happens instead of asking “why is this happening to me”, ask yourself “what is this moment trying to teach me”.

It’s all about your mindset!

Your blessings have already happened for you. Be patient and enjoy every moment of the journey because it is indeed beautiful.

One day you will see how it all makes sense. But for now, keep doing what you can with what you have.

Be intentional and adopt habits that are in service to your success. And work to get rid of those that aren’t.
