I love love love a soft beat. I love having the ability to just create. I even more love it when my client feels amazing and pretty afterwards. I know then my job is complete. For many years, I wanted my artistry to emulate the artists that I admire. But my eye is my eye. And I'm loving how I see beauty. I just pray that my vision continues to align with the amazing people God sends my way.

Do you remember your first time? No, not that silly! LoL! The first time you realized that something was for you. That you weren’t crazy for thinking that you had a calling.

The first picture was the first time I started to grasp the true concept of Smokey eyes and blending. It was like 3 or 4 in the morning and I kept trying and trying and trying. Then finally it clicked! I understood what I was doing. I had no choice but to go up from there!

The second picture is when I figured out how to contour softly. It was the moment when I saw why people wanted to be contoured. It also started my wheels turning. Made me realize how much I enjoy creating softer, natural makeup looks. This was a great pivot for me.

Often times, I get embarrassed looking back. Seeing mistakes and the not so pretty stuff. But with a new perspective, I see determination, eagerness to grow, and passion for my mission. You can glance back, but don't linger. Just see how far you've really come.
