We finally managed to grab an updated team photo yesterday during a content shoot, and I couldn't wait to share it. It was such a fun day together, creating a TON of content that you'll start seeing over the coming weeks! 🙌

As I was lying in bed last night thinking about what to write for this post, one phrase kept coming to mind:

"The excitement is palpable."

I honestly can't think of a better way to describe this season at Legacy 740.

> Our new building is coming along beautifully.
> Our team is firing on all cylinders.
> Our grand opening is in the works.
> Our vision for the future has never been clearer.

Of course, growth comes with its fair share of stress.. But the excitement, the momentum, and the purpose behind everything we're building far outweigh any of it.

This is more than a new building or a "new chapter" —
we're rewriting the whole. damn. book.

We spend more money fixing our cars than preventing disease.

Think about it.

We schedule oil changes before the engine fails.
We rotate the tires before they're bald.
We replace the brakes before they stop working.

Preventive maintenance just makes sense.

Rachel is in Columbus by her daughter’s side as she continues to fight following a devastating side-by-side accident. She remains in critical condition, and the road to recovery will be long.

While we continue to pray for healing and strength for her sweet girl, our hearts also keep turning to Rachel. As moms, we know that when our children are hurting, we often forget to care for ourselves. Our hearts ache for her, and we pray she is getting the love she also desperately needs during this time.

This is a huge step forward and a testament to what can happen when science, patient advocacy, and passionate providers come together with one common goal: improving patient care.

Not every outcome was what we had hoped. Rather than dismissing it outright, the committee identified areas where they felt additional information and clarification are needed. While disappointing, this is not the end of the conversation. It’s part of a process, and understanding why those concerns were raised is just as important as celebrating today’s victories.

One of the most inspiring parts of today was the advisory committee itself. It was filled with thoughtful, knowledgeable individuals who genuinely care about protecting patients while also ensuring providers have access to safe, effective tools to help those who trust us with their care. The discussions were respectful, thorough, and centered on doing what is right—not what is easy.

I encourage everyone to take the time to listen to the committee’s votes and, more importantly, the reasoning behind them. These conversations matter. They provide insight into the process and help us better understand the path forward.

Today was progress. It wasn’t the finish line, but it was a step closer than we were yesterday. The fight isn’t over—but we are moving forward.

To my patients, colleagues, and everyone who has supported this journey: thank you. Every conversation, every question, every voice advocating for evidence-based care has helped us get here. I will continue to fight for access to treatments that I believe can make a meaningful difference in the lives of my patients. I won’t stop advocating, learning, or showing up because you deserve providers who are willing to stand in the gap.

Thank you for believing in this mission alongside me. Today gave me hope, and I hope it gave you some too.

Today, we had the honor of attending the FDA Advisory Committee meeting, where our very own Tina spoke on behalf of BPC-157 and the patients whose lives have been impacted by compounded medications.

We’re excited to share that BPC-157 received a “yes” vote, and not only that… all four substances discussed today received favorable votes from the Advisory Committee.

This is a huge step forward and something so many patients, providers, and advocates have been working toward.

While today’s outcome is encouraging, our fight isn’t over. What we’re continuing to advocate for is the inclusion of FDA-regulated 503A and 503B compounding pharmacies so that patients can continue to have access to these important therapies when appropriate. Millions of Americans rely on compounded medications because commercially available options don’t always meet their medical needs.

Today was about more than one medication, it was about patient access, provider choice, and ensuring that individualized care remains available for those who need it most.

We are incredibly proud of Tina for representing our community with professionalism, passion, and purpose. Her voice, along with so many others, helped bring real patient experiences to the table.

No matter the challenge or the conversation, we always have one common goal in mind: creating a healthier community and ensuring safe access to medications. Every effort we make is rooted in advocating for patients, supporting providers, and protecting access to the care people rely on. That mission will always remain at the heart of what we do. Questioning the status quo isn’t always easy, and sometimes it means taking risks as a provider. But meaningful progress has never come from staying comfortable. It comes from asking difficult questions, advocating for our patients, and standing up for what we believe will lead to safer, more effective care.

This is just the beginning. We captured so much throughout the day and can’t wait to share behind-the-scenes moments, updates, photos, and videos with you all very soon.
