Marietta clients are still being seen and serviced in Marietta. Currently, I am seeing clients in the same building just a different suite (or you can book me to come to you).

My second location is in Kennesaw!! I have moved into a beautiful home with a finished basement. Those of you that are comfortable with coming to my home-based spa are WELCOME!

My third location is in Suwanee, GA. I have partnered with Industry 28 Spa & Suites and will be offering services there 3 days a week.

What is Micro-Needling?

Micro-needling is the non-surgical process of pricking your skin with several tiny needles to kickstart collagen production.

As we age, we lose our skin’s collagen, which is a protein responsible for our skin’s elasticity, firmness, brightness, and overall health. Loss of collagen is also what leads to wrinkled and sagging skin as we age.

With microneedling, the tiny punctures made to your skin force the healing process to start, which is where collagen comes into play. Microneedling triggers skin regeneration, which refreshes your skin cells.

How does Micro-needling work?

Think of it as wounding the skin to kickstart the healing process. However, there is extremely minimal pain involved thanks to a topical anesthetic.
Because of the way microneedling works, it is sometimes referred to as collagen induction therapy. The entire process produces brighter and tighter skin. It can also help reduce and eliminate acne scars, wrinkles, and sunspots, other damaged skin issues.
Microneedling also helps your skin deliver the nutrients from your skincare products to deeper underlying cells. This means your skincare products are more effective and go further after microneedling.

Micro-needling Process and Results

The results from microneedling are similar to the results you get from a fractional laser treatment, but it does not require downtime. This aspect, and the fact that it is minimally invasive, is what makes microneedling such an attractive treatment option. Before treatment, a topical anesthetic is applied so you don’t feel the needles that much.

Microneedling sessions are typically one hour long. The actual microneedling treatment itself takes about 20 or 30 minutes, but you also need time to let the numbing cream set. Most clients choose to do three to six treatments for the best results. Treatments are typically spaced out between two and three months.

After Micro-needling

The best part of micro-needling is that there is no downtime. Your face will be red for about 24 hours after your first treatment, and unfortunately, you cannot apply makeup to tone it down.
However, the redness does not last long and just looks like a sunburn. You will not be in any pain and you can go back to your regular activities right away.

We will give you a skincare regimen to apply for a week after your treatment, which includes an SPF sunscreen and gentle moisturizers. You should not use any harsh skincare products on your face for about a week after treatment since your skin is still in the regenerating process.
You will start seeing immediate results after the first treatment. Your skin will look radiant and your complexion will be clearer than it was before treatment.

You will see more significant and lasting results with each proceeding treatment, which is why most people do a series of treatments every few weeks.

Four to six treatments are the ideal amount to erase wrinkles and fine lines. We will work with you to determine the right amount of sessions for the results you want. Typically, results last for six months to a year after your last treatment.
