PARTY TIME!

To work or not to work.....THAT is the question! I have heard so many contradictory opinions on Governor Kemp's announcement on Monday. As a hairstylist I am excited to get back to work. So many of the resources supposedly set aside for independent contractors like myself have been non existent. I have had to weigh the desire to be healthy and the need to make a living.
I have decided to go back to work! I am taking the necessary precautions to protect both myself and my clients. Some of the steps my loft mate and I are taking are:
- Working staggered shifts, only one of us working at a time.
- Only one client allowed in the salon at a time.
- No clients allowed in the waiting areas for their appointment. You will receive a text when it is safe for you to enter the building.
- I will wear a mask and gloves throughout the entire appointment.
- I will be taking my temperature prior to every appointment as well as requesting clients to take theirs. A digital, thermal thermometer will be provided in the salon.
- Masks and gloves will be provided for clients if they do not have them.
- Buffer time will be added between clients to allow time for sanitation of all common areas including station, shampoo bowls, chair and all tools to be used.
